Kim Sørensen – DK Salmon and The Munkerfly

Kim Sørensen is a very skilled Danish flytier and Fly fisher mann.. And we are very proud to have him onboard both in Futurefly and as a Guideline Power Team member in Denmark… Today Kim got his second Salmon this year in his home river “Storåen”

Kim is fishing alot with “The Munkerfly”, its a Zonkerfly with a Muddlerhead.. A deadly combi!

Kim is making the Munker in many colours and sizes..

My name is Brian Størup, and living in northern part of Jutland, Denmark. I have been fly fishing and tying my own flies ever since I was a boy. Fishing for sea trout at night is my big passion along with salmon fishing in Denmark and abroad, which is also one of my favorite pursuits. The streams of Karup Aa and Lindenborg Aa in Denmark and Em Aa in Sweden are among my favorite places for fly fishing. Tying my own flies has become a way of life for me, and not a day goes by, without me spending time doing a bit at my vice. Developing new materials for fly tying and discovering new ways of using the different materials is now a natural part of my everyday life.
