Pure Wild Power

One, of many good things about working with your hobby, is that you have to test some gear and flies 🙂 and that your office is outside – most of the time:-)

After work i went out to test some new flies and the brand new Guideline ULS Hybrid #8 rod. Both did the job.. I have only been out chasing silver chrome a few hours since the River Skjern open up for the season 16.April, i had a big fish on, a few seconds, but did not hook it..

But on the 6 ofmay was a good day at the green office 🙂

A fat and strong salmon hit the fly like there was no tomorrow, after a good, hard and short fight the fish was ready. A realy beautiful Danish wild salmon. It´s still swimming in the river and waiting for the spawning.. Thanks!

It has not been on a diet this one…

Our new FF Hairwing in Olive did the job, and i believe many more will be caught on this fly

Brian

My name is Brian Størup, and living in northern part of Jutland, Denmark. I have been fly fishing and tying my own flies ever since I was a boy. Fishing for sea trout at night is my big passion along with salmon fishing in Denmark and abroad, which is also one of my favorite pursuits. The streams of Karup Aa and Lindenborg Aa in Denmark and Em Aa in Sweden are among my favorite places for fly fishing. Tying my own flies has become a way of life for me, and not a day goes by, without me spending time doing a bit at my vice. Developing new materials for fly tying and discovering new ways of using the different materials is now a natural part of my everyday life.
