The hunt for a 60+ Seatrout

written by Brian 15.03.2022
On the third day this year it was close, but no 60+.. i will soon be out there again 🙂
Day 3 in the hunt of that 60+ Coastal seatrout is on, a lot of fish, nothing close to 60.. it’s a very nice day on the green office
We found them… I just lost a fish that could have been close to the target.. but a few cast later a nice fat seatrout took my Brown Mojn.. we keep looking..
There is nothing like a Sunny day in Marts. A lot of fish moving, but only small ones wants to play. Lost a good one, like always:-)
Day 2 in the hunt:-) totally different conditions- full sun, no wind… i teamed up with a local hero Danny Vollertsen, let’s see how that goes…
Fishing is over for today. Only small seatrout caught and lost. But tomorrow is a new day. Always nice to be out in the green office. I am at cabin now, it’s warm and cosy, now it’s time for flytying:-)
Caught a few Seatrout, but no one even close to 60+ 🙂 normally i like murky water, but with heavy rain and dark clouds it’s for me not the best… it’s time for lunch and moving to a new spot…
Its raining- a bit windy. I just startet the fishing so let’s see if the seatrout wants to play

Brian

My name is Brian Størup, and living in northern part of Jutland, Denmark. I have been fly fishing and tying my own flies ever since I was a boy. Fishing for sea trout at night is my big passion along with salmon fishing in Denmark and abroad, which is also one of my favorite pursuits. The streams of Karup Aa and Lindenborg Aa in Denmark and Em Aa in Sweden are among my favorite places for fly fishing. Tying my own flies has become a way of life for me, and not a day goes by, without me spending time doing a bit at my vice. Developing new materials for fly tying and discovering new ways of using the different materials is now a natural part of my everyday life.
